Plumbing, heating and electrical merchant City Plumbing has opened a new branch in Clacton-on-Sea, bringing a new trade counter, showroom and renewables offer to the town.
The new 6896 sqft branch, located at Clacton Trade and Leisure Park on Old Road, features a trade counter packed with top-quality heating, plumbing and electrical supplies, plus The Bathroom Showroom where customers can see a full suite of products in person, including City Plumbing’s own iflo bathroom range, and use a free 3D design service.
With demand for renewable technologies growing in the area, the new Old Road site will also feature a renewable product area including solar PV, air source heat pumps and a range of accessories.
To mark the opening of the new branch, City Plumbing is hosting a trade launch event on Tuesday 27 January 2026, from 9:00am until 5pm, where tradespeople can meet with the local team as well as suppliers Midea, Prowarm, Wavin, Baxi, Roca and Resideo. There will also be free food and drink, and on-the-day giveaways and promotions.
Samuel Chaplin, Branch Manager at City Plumbing Clacton-on-Sea, said: “Clacton-on-Sea and the surrounding area have a huge number of installers providing plumbing, heating and renewable solutions for the area, and to have a City Plumbing branch on the doorstep will no doubt make their lives a lot easier.
“This launch event is a great opportunity for us to show local installers how we can help make their business stronger, whether that’s with fast access to over 20,000 spare parts, choosing the best air source heat pump for a project or designing a customer’s new bathroom.”
