Dave Evans, Chief Executive Officer

Dave, Chief Executive Officer, leads the Exec team accountable for the operational performance and strategic delivery across all the businesses of the Highbourne Group. Dave has led the Group since 2020, collaborating closely with investors and other stakeholders. He has extensive B2B and B2C experience, having led finance and business teams across a variety of roles with Coles Supermarkets, Alliance Boots and Travis Perkins. 

Dave is committed to fostering an open and collaborative workplace, making the business an even better place to work.

Robbie Bell, Chief Financial Officer

Robbie, our Chief Financial Officer, joined the Highbourne Group in 2023 from Holland & Barrett, where he was also CFO. He has held similar roles at a number of large retailers, including Welcome Break and Screwfix, where he oversaw sales growth of over £1bn and expansion from 50 to 600 trade counters.

Robbie is using his extensive experience and skillset to drive growth, support Highbourne's strategic ambitions, and transform strategic insights into actionable strategy to ensure the Highbourne Group continues to deliver for our teams, our partners, and our customers alike.

Rachel Baldwin, Chief People Officer

Rachel joined us in 2024 as our Chief People Officer. She brings an extensive background in strategic HR leadership, organisational development, and change management from her previous roles at Pilgrim's UK and Arriva Plc.

In her role, Rachel will drive forward the development of the Group's people strategy, building on its aim to create an environment where team members feel welcomed, motivated, supported, and empowered. Rachel will also further develop the company's focus on inclusivity.

Liz Taylor, Chief Commerical Officer

Liz joined the business in May 2025 as Chief Commercial Officer bringing extensive experience from her 24 years in food retailing. 

Liz’s most recent role was Commercial Director at Morrisons and prior to then she held a wide variety of commercial roles at Marks & Spencer and Asda.

John Vaughan, Business Performance Director

John has extensive experience in the Plumbing and Heating Industry, holding senior roles at HRPC, Wolseley, PTS, BSS Group and then CEO of Adey. In 2021, he returned to our company as Senior Advisor to the Board, and shortly after, became Chief Customer Officer.

From July 2025, John took on a new role within the group as Business Performance Director, leading several key initiatives across suppliers, customers, and sectors. He is committed to providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with key suppliers.

Darren Redwood, Operations Director

Darren Redwood, Operations Director, oversees all branches and showrooms across the UK and Ireland, as well as central customer service teams. He joined the company in 2015 and became Managing Director of the North Region of City Plumbing branches in 2018. In this role, he was responsible for daily operations, P&L, and strategic objectives of the branch network.

Before joining the team, Darren held senior roles in Operations and Supply Chain at Belron UK and O'Brien.

His primary focus is to collaborate with a motivated team to continue building customer partnerships, while delivering exceptional service and generating value.

Chris Ives, Chief Supply Chain Officer

Chris re-joined us in 2025 having previously held roles with us as part of Travis Perkins, to lead our Supply Chain, Product Supply, and Omega teams. Chris has a varied background in Supply Chain and Logistics, with experience in roles such as Product Supply and Merchandise Director for Wickes, and Head of Supply - GM and Clothing at Sainsbury’s. He later returned to Travis Perkins as Plumbing and Heating Supply Chain Director and more recently, has been COO for several privately owned businesses.

His focus is on improving service levels and logistics to better support our customers, colleagues and future plans, while driving cost efficiency and keeping safety at the forefront.

Mark Trevorrow, Chief Information & Technology Officer

Mark joined the business as IT Director of the Plumbing and Heating division in 2017.

Mark is a highly experienced CIO with extensive experience in delivering IT and process solutions into the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), food retail and retail industries. Mark is experienced in driving effective information systems and working as part of a management board to deliver commercial success.

Mark has held board-level roles at a number of organisations, including the Musgrave Group, one of Europe's largest food wholesalers.

Maxine Cornelius, Managing Director - Sales

Maxine joined Plumbing Trade Supplies (PTS) in 2009 as the New Build Sector Director and was promoted to Sales Director within 12 months to sit on the PTS board.

She has held a number of senior roles, including Sales Director, Program Management Director, Renewables Director, and National Sales Director.

Maxine now leads the National and Regional Sales, Estimating, Customer Services and Bid Management teams, with a focus on excellence in customer management.

Prior to joining PTS, Maxine worked for Twyford bathrooms in a variety of senior sales roles.

Hemal Morjaria, Managing Director - Heating & Renewables

Hemal has been with us since 2022, initially joining the renewables team as our Business Development Director. In April 2023, he took on the role of Managing Director for Renewables, Electrical, and Site Temp, where he was uniquely positioned to lead the electrification of heat and drive the growth of our electrical and site temp offerings. His remit expanded in 2025 to cover Heating more broadly, whilst continuing to push forward on all things Electrical and Renewables.

With over 10 years of experience at industry leaders like Amazon and Travis Perkins, Hemal brings a wealth of expertise to our team.

Steve Smith, Managing Director - Bathroom

Steve began his career with us in 2012 as Director of The Bathroom Showroom. He then became MD of the West Region, before taking on the role of Managing Director of Energy Efficiency, Electrical, and Underfloor heating.

Today, Steve is the Managing Director - Bathroom, covering our entire Bathroom category, including The Bathroom Showroom. In his previous role as Managing Director of Sales, he led the sales teams for our branches and wholesale business.

Steve’s ethos is ‘customer first’, and he has spent his career building cross-functional teams where every member of the team plays an equally important role in delivering for the customer.

Roz Kane, Managing Director - Spares & Services

Roz joined the business in 2022 as Operations Director for Spares and has played a vital role in the ongoing development of the DHS and NSS businesses.

In July 2024, Roz moved into the role of Managing Director - Spares & Services, to lead the whole Spares Business Unit and the next phase of development (including Spares at City Plumbing, DHS, NSS, FaultFinder & City Plumbing Insurance).

Dave Griggs, Managing Director - Non-Residential

Dave is an experienced leader within our business, having led a number of successful teams. Dave has taken on a variety of leadership and project management roles and was promoted to Regional Director at Benchmarx in 2008 before moving to City Plumbing in 2011, where he was responsible for the South East region. 

In January 2020, Dave took on the role of Managing Director of Spares, responsible for the Spares strategy and proposition, which included the City Plumbing branch network as well as running our two specialist Spares businesses; Direct Heating Spares & National Shower Spares. 

In July 2024, Dave moved again, this time to the role of Managing Director (Non-Residential) where Dave is responsible for our move into the Non-Residential market through the development and implementation of our ambitious plans as we expand our addressable market over the years ahead.
